North Dakota-Specific Notes
- NREMT required for all levels. ND state licensure is directly tied to NREMT certification — maintaining NREMT is mandatory.
- License expires 90 days after NREMT expiration. Your ND license is valid for 90 days past your NREMT expiration date.
- Must be affiliated with a ND licensed EMS operation or have medical direction from a ND licensed physician.
- EMS Compact member. ND is part of the EMS Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact.
